We want to help you get connected with our community and let you know what we are doing to bring the civilian and military communities together. Our mission is to continue to nurture that relationship by working as a team with Fort Stewart and the military.

We have coordinated many programs in support of military members and their families, especially those who deploy. Working hand-in-hand with Fort Stewart, the committee sponsors farewell picnics for deploying soldiers and their families as well as celebrations upon their return. We strive to support the soldiers and their families while they are stationed here and during the Marne Division's busy deployment schedule.

If you wish to become a part of this work, please join us! The Hinesville Military Affairs Committee regularly meets at 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month in the Hinesville Police Department's squad room (123 East Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Hinesville).
